The storage inventory

One item is kept by this site: a key in local storage recording your choice about the notice, placed to stop the banner repeating at every click. It survives until you clear it, and it carries nothing apart from the choice itself.

What is not included

No analytics packages, no advertising identifiers and no profiling software are present anywhere on the site. The only names Google and others appear under are in the legal pages themselves.

The map that arrives with the page

The contact page includes a Google map, and it loads without waiting for a click because the map is part of the address - on the same footing as the lines printed in the footer. In consequence, when that page opens, Google sees your IP address and some browser details, under its own terms.

Living without the map

The whole mailing address and phone line are written out as text on the contact page and repeated in the footer of every page, so a reader who prefers not to load the map loses nothing.

Undoing the choice

Clear this site's data in the browser and the notice will ask afresh the next time you visit. There is nothing further to unsubscribe from, because nothing else was kept.
